A series of 6 images that work on the progress of photographing the colour white, with subtle hints of objects within the images. It invites the viewer to experience a contemplative moment while reflecting the narrative of our habitual interactions with a photograph - all too often we find ourselves finding context, meaning, information and seek to understand the visual presented before us. When an image lacks that, that is when the contemplation starts to wander elsewhere, creating the hesitance on whether to stay or let our eyes leave to find other things to view. Through this development into the project, tones of white becomes a partner in allowing us to consider more than what a photograph has always been.
